Waking Up in 5D: A Guide to Living From the Sacred Heart in a New Earth Reality

Have you ever felt like you’re living in two worlds at once?

One foot still planted in a world of duty, deadlines, and duality… and the other foot hesitantly stepping into something softer, more spacious, more luminous—a reality that whispers to your soul: You were made for more than this.

According to mystic and multidimensional teacher Maureen J. St. Germain, author of Waking Up in 5D, we are in the midst of a powerful planetary shift in consciousness. More and more of us are being called to “wake up in 5D”—to begin living not from fear, control, and scarcity (3D), but from love, flow, and inner knowing (5D).

This is not just a New Age buzzword or spiritual bypass. It’s a quantum leap in human evolution. And it changes everything.

In this blog post, I’ll guide you through some of the key principles in Waking Up in 5D and how they align with other teachings I’ve studied and integrated—including Spiritual Science, Quantum Thinking, and my own lived experience as a later-diagnosed neurodivergent woman navigating the terrain of soul recovery, relationship repair, and the sacred work of Becoming.

What Is 5D Consciousness?

5D, or fifth-dimensional consciousness, is a state of being—not a place. It’s an inner frequency, a way of perceiving reality through the heart rather than the mind.

In 5D:

  • Time is nonlinear.
  • Love is unconditional.
  • Unity replaces separation.
  • Intuition leads over logic.
  • And your sacred connection to Source is direct and unmediated.

You remember who you really are.

You also start to live in alignment with the truth that your thoughts, words, and emotions are creative forces. What you vibrate is what you attract.

This is similar to what I shared in my ebook Spiritual Science Made Simple, where I describe 5D as the Soul-Led Self—a state in which the ego no longer runs the show, and life transforms into a collaborative dance with the quantum field. Howard Falco calls this the moment of “I AM”—when you realize you are the author of your experience and surrender to a higher awareness of self.

But what does this look like in real life?

3D vs. 5D: How to Spot the Difference

Maureen J. St. Germain offers helpful charts and checklists in her book, contrasting 3D and 5D traits. Here’s a simple comparison:

This echoes what Richard Rohr calls “Transcendence Deficit Disorder”—our collective over-identification with the small self, the ego, the finite. In The Divine Dance, he speaks of reawakening to the flow of Divine Love—the same love that is the 5D frequency.

Similar themes are present in Angelo DiLullo’s Awake. He describes spiritual awakening not as something added to us but as a removal of illusion—a remembering of our true, already-whole nature. The shift is subtle but life-changing.

Living From the Sacred Heart

One of the core practices in Waking Up in 5D is learning to drop into the Sacred Heart—an energetic centre in your chest where you feel unity, love, and divine guidance.

When we lead from the Sacred Heart:

  • We respond instead of reacting.
  • We choose love over being right.
  • We trust our inner guidance even when logic says otherwise.

This practice resonates deeply with what I call Reclaiming Your Inner Sovereignty, a key phase in my 3Rs framework—Rebuilding, Reclaiming, and Remembering. It’s about coming home to the part of you that was never broken, never defined by trauma, ADHD, divorce, estrangement, or societal roles.

This heart-based intelligence is the gateway to 5D.

Practical Tools for 5D Living

You don’t have to wait for a “perfect life” or an ashram retreat to start living in 5D. Here are a few grounded practices from St. Germain and others that you can begin now:

  1. Merkabah Activation
  • A star tetrahedron light body field that surrounds your physical body.
  • Activating it through breath, intention, and geometry enhances protection, intuition, and ascension energy.
  • I use this alongside Heart Coherence practices to create a daily “spiritual hygiene” reset.
  1. Daily “I AM” Statements
  • Example: I AM the Light. I AM Love. I AM guided and always protected.
  • These affirmations program the subconscious and align you with divine frequency, something echoed in the Law of Magnetic Attraction, another area I’ve written about.
  1. Emotional Mastery
  • Emotions are energy in motion. In 5D, you become a conscious steward of your emotional field.
  • Use EFT Tapping or energy psychology (like I share in my ADHD coaching programs) to transmute lower vibrations quickly.
  1. Spiritual Housekeeping
  • Transparent negative entities, old contracts, and energetic debris.
  • Visualise a Tube of Light or violet flame. Call in Archangel Michael or your own higher self-team.
